Where the hell did my holidays go? Wow, break sure goes fast--only one more week until I have to go back to uni! ;_; It's not much of a 'break', though, seeing as I have to prepare three assignments this coming week!

I spent most of this last week taking some downtime after a few stressful incidents in my home life, but life's just not that easy On Good Friday morning my grandpop suffered a stroke outside his home and fell onto his neighbour's windowsill and cracked his head. He's got 5 staples in now, and though he seems to be out of total danger now, the doctors are worried about his blood sugar levels and heart rate being too high. They weren't happy to find out that my pop (a diabetic, and on medication that reacts "adversely" to alcohol) drinks a few glasses every time he's up at the RSL!
With luck, though, he'll become less confused (he currently thinks he's outside a bus stop in England) by the end of the week and in the end of two, be allowed to go home again.

I only saw him on Thursday afternoon and he was perfectly fine. It's hard to think that all of a sudden he'd turn out to be just a day away from an incident like that. I've visited him up at the hospital a bit. It's a little difficult to see him in that state though. He's confused like my nanna was, which brings back some difficult memories, though it's really, really good to think he'll be making a full recovery

Shopping for Easter was fun, though it quickly adds up! ~bushidoanime took me out to a resturant on Saturday--that was brilliant! I've seen, and "presented-to" everyone in my family now, so all that's left are Dee and Leisha. They're so difficult to get in touch with, though =\

Homelife's been so-so. Things are getting a little tense between my roommate and me, but that's probably just because I haven't been as much of a pushover this week as I have in the past. I don't think she's used to not getting her own way all the time

I've been doing a little drawing in (what's left of) my free time, though I've not yet gotten around to uploading anything yet. That's something else to work on! I'm hoping to get to Photoshop by week's end, so I can tidy up some work I've been sitting on for a few too many months... +_+
